I am so behind in blogging sessions right now! I have had so many beautiful sessions and have truly enjoyed them all. I am not going to blog the images from the Christmas Card Mini sessions I did a few weeks ago, because I want everyone’s images to be a surprise when they send their beautiful custom Christmas Cards to their family and friends this Christmas, I will try to remember to blog them after Christmas.

Here are 4 sweet little people who each had a Bitty Session this month. In case you don’t know what a Bitty Session is, they are the shorter sessions that I offer. Bitty Sessions are perfect for when you just need to update a child’s picture, mark a special occasion like a birthday, or just want to try out custom photography.

These little people are all so cute, and I love their images! I will contact you all with your galleries soon!

It is fall and it is really the most beautiful time of the year for outside sessions! I have been enjoying myself outdoors, and had a blast with this gorgeous family. I have loved getting to see their children grow over the last couple of years as I have photographed their family. They are pretty gorgeous aren’t they? :0)

I have rediscovered my love for family portraits! I guess what got me thinking about, and wanting to do them again, is my own family. I want pictures of ME with my children! They are getting so big, so fast, and I want them to remember this time. That I love them, that I cuddled and snuggled them, that we were each other’s entire world. When photographing children it is just a natural extension of that to take images of them with their family. The family is the child’s most important relationship. Wrestling with Dad, snuggling up with Mom, nothing is more precious. When shooting families I try very hard to take the kind of images I would like of myself with my children, after all, what is a picture but a little piece of how the photographer sees the world? I have been loving this fall, and all my clients who allow me to photograph their family and see their love for each other. Enjoy…

I had such a nice night with these two little girls! I don’t have any sisters myself, but have always wanted one, so it was fun to see them together. Don’t let their angelic looks fool you, they are quite feisty, especially the little one, but that always makes for the best images since the feisty ones give you so many fun faces and expressions to work with! :0) I hope you love the sneak peek of these two girls, just being sisters.

Happy birthday little Halyn! This sweet, happy little girl is turning one. I also had the pleasure of photographing her when she was a newborn, and it was so much fun to see how big she had grown. She had traveled a long way to see me, but was still a happy, sweet little person to work with, and obviously the apple of her family’s eye. ( yes grandma and grandpa, I mean you! :0) ) I hope you all enjoy a small sneak peek of all the wonderful images we were able to get of her.

Remember that 1.5 to 2 weeks of rain we just had? This family was scheduled right in the middle of that. We ended up having to reschedule, and were able to have a beautiful sunny day for our session. I love the connection between this family. I always want to take pictures of others that I would want of myself or my husband with our children. Sure every moment of every day is not sweetness, laughter and kissing, but I would like to REMEMBER it that way! LOL! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I love it when summer starts and I can finally shoot outside! The problem with living in Canada, is that this time of year the sun doesn’t go down until after 11, so it is hard to find pockets of nice light at about 5 o’clock at night, which is when the sessions happen so that little people can have a normal bedtime! :0) This family was great as I took them to my one nice pocket that I could find on this particular day. It doesn’t look so great in real life, but in pictures it is wonderful. Little boy Sol wasn’t so much in the mood for looking at me, he would much rather have been eating every rock he found and play with his gnomes, but I was able to trick him into taking some great pictures any way, and big brother Phoenix was wonderful. These are two really cute boys with wonderful people for parents. I enjoyed your session guys I hope you love your sneak peek!

The sessions will take place outdoors in Fort Saskatchewan Friday June 10. Each session will be 30 minutes long. You will receive 10 digital negatives cropped at 11×14 at 300 dpi of your choice from your session to print as your please in a gorgeous custom cd case, and a printed 5×7 of each file.
$525 plus tax

Here are some more long over due sneak peeks. I did a Mother’s Day Mini Session for all those ladies who are always behind the camera rather than in front of it with their children. It was so fun, and we were able to capture some really amazing moments between mothers and their children. I announced this first to the people who are on my email list, and it immediately filled up, so if you didn’t hear about- it that’s why. If you would like to receive emails, the box to subscribe is at the top of the blog.

I was so inspired that I had my husband take some images of my children and me too. I love them, this is my favorite… It is with my youngest, but I have several wonderful moments with each of my sons. :0)
