I am looking for some models for my upcoming workshop. This will be a workshop exclusively for professional photographers. M0dels will need to sign a release allowing the photographers to use the images that are taken at the workshop in their portfolios.

I am looking for the following ages…

Newborn- less than 10 days old as of September 10-11- if you are due the last week of August or First week of September- this is for you! :0)

Maternity- between 26-30 weeks pregnant as of September 10-11.

Children- 7-9 months, and 3-6 years old.

All models will receive at least 10 digital files on a disc- a value of $1050- for free! If you are interested- please email me at secretan@shaw.ca

This little girl was soooo sweet, and incredibly bendy! :0) She pretty much just slept and slept- I love that- we can do so many fun things when they are sleepy! :0) This sneak peek is a bit over due- I am so busy right now- everyone seems to have had their babies all at once. This little guy is about 4 months old- he was so good during his session. He really just looked and looked at me- not a lot of smiles, but I loved all the eyes contact. Isn’t his hair so cute? I love his little faux hawk! What a cutie. :0) Enjoy your sneak peek Jodie- I will contact you next week with your gallery. :0)

Happy Easter!!!

Just remember as you steal the candy from your children’s easter baskets ( don’t pretend you haven’t already been in there!) there is no need to feel guilty!

Chocolate is a vegetable: Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans.
Beans = vegetable.

Sugar is derived from either sugar CANE or sugar BEETS. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.

To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy. So candy bars are a health food.

Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.

If you’ve got melted chocolate all over your hands, you’re eating it too slowly.

The problem: how to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in a hot car. The solution: eat it in the parking lot.

Diet tip: eat a chocolate bar before each meal. It’ll take the edge off your appetite, and you’ll eat less.

If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet? Don’t they actually counteract each other?

Chocolate has many preservatives. Preservatives make you look younger.

Put “eat chocolate” at the top of your list of things to do today. That way, at least you’ll get one thing done.

A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place. Now, isn’t that handy?

If not for chocolate, there would be no need for control top pantyhose. An entire garment industry would be devastated. You can’t let that happen, can you?

May marks the 5 year anniversary of starting my photography business. It is like most things- I can’t believe it’s been 5 years already, and at the same time- I can’t believe it’s been only 5 years! :0)

Here is another gorgeous super model… oh- I mean expectant mother! :0) Love the belly- Terra was so much fun to work with, and was up for anything- that is always SO MUCH FUN! Thanks for the great session- I can’t wait to see what is hiding in that belly! :0)

I will be having a special mini session day devoted just to those mothers out there who are always BEHIND the camera and never IN FRONT of the camera with their special little people. I always look at my children’s images and feel so left out because there are very few of me and my boys together- yes kids- I WAS a part of your life, I was just behind the camera at all those fun moments. I think it is important for children to have images of themselves with their mothers, so I am having this special mother and children event- NO DADS ALLOWED!! )

There is a special price, and I will be offering storyboards and other goodies at special prices too. It is by appointment only, so book early so that there is time for you, and those special people in your life to FINALLY have a picture of you together! )

I LOVE seeing my little newborns again, it is always amazing to me how much they have changed, but still what little pieces are the same as they were when they were brand new. This little cutie just turned one, and he had to come in and do a birth cupcake smash! He’s a smart one already- he just ate the icing off all 3 cupcakes and left that nasty cake alone- how quickly they learn. :0) He is such a cute, smiley, sweet little guy- I know you already know that- but I had to say it again! :0)

I’m Back

I just got back at 2 am from the convention I was at. It was a blast- I learned so much and I am excited to be able to offer all my clients the new techniques I learned, and the new products I learned about. I love learning new things, and I am super excited to be able to start using my new techniques in my sessions soon. ( As soon as I get all the new equipment I need to be able to do the new techniques! :0) )

While I was away I don’t think I was relieably receiving my emails. If you tried to contact me and I have not responded it is because I didn’t receive your email. Please send it to me again, and I will get right back to you.

I am currently at a wonderful photographer’s conference learning growing, and having fun. I will be unable to return your emails until after I return home. If you email me while I am away I will return your emails soon, and will book your appointments in the order that I received your inquiries. I am having a wonderful time- I love learning little things here and there that enable me to be an even better photographer for you. Every year I attend a couple of workshops, I firmly believe in education, an educated photographer is a better photographer!
